Plan a visit this summer to see us in action.
We’ll even help you find a place to stay overnight!
We invite you to come see us in action this summer. A tour of camp takes about one hour and we are more than happy to show you around our summer home. Tours are available Fridays through Wednesdays (That is; not on Thursdays!) throughout July and August.
Tours are scheduled at 10:00 AM, 11:15 AM, 2:00 PM & 3:30 PM. We suggest that you do not visit more than three camps on any one day.

We do limit the number of families that can visit at any one time. Therefore, we may ask you to pick another day or time to visit us that is mutually convenient.
Stephanie and Mitch, the owners and directors (that’s us!), personally give a walking tour on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. Our other scheduled tour times are via golf cart with alumni or staff. Regardless, we meet with families at the beginning and end of the tour to discuss camp and answer any questions that may not have been answered during the tour.
As owners and directors, we are very involved in the program and with each individual camper. Our concentration during the summer is with the campers that are at camp. However, we enjoy quality time with visiting families as well. In addition, it is certainly our pleasure to speak with you on the phone during the summer and follow up as well in the Fall. The parents of our campers and the campers that are at Camp Towanda appreciate this philosophy, as we are sure you will too.
Please call as soon as possible to arrange a camp tour. We'll be more than happy to help you find overnight accommodations and send you directions. In addition, we will call to confirm your appointment by the Thursday prior to your visit. You can expect the weather to be different at camp than it is at home, so please be prepared for all types of weather... pack that car!
After your tour, if you decide Camp Towanda is for your child, we suggest leaving a deposit and completing the application. Once the current summer is over, we will call you by September 1st to touch base and get the ball rolling! After that, we will spoon-feed everything to you as we help you prepare for the camp experience. Don’t hesitate to call anytime with any questions or concerns you might have.
If you are unable to tour during the camp session, we offer personal tours year round.
We hope to hear from you soon and that your family will be part of our camp family next summer!
